Southern Illinois University Carbondale's College of Mass Communication and Media Arts D.C. Studies Program will allow students to gain hands-on experience while earning academic credit by doing internships in media industries in Washington, D.C. Premiering in 2007, D.C. Studies will be the fifth of MCMA's Studies Programs.

Where might I intern?

Through D.C. Studies, students from SIUC will be placed in summer internships with media companies to gain experience and insight into their chosen fields. With the help of MCMA alumni and friends, D.C. Studies promises to be yet another successful gateway between the classrooms and the real world for MCMA students.
