The Morning Board Operator works 5am to 9am Monday through Friday, and is responsible for running board for local news during Morning Edition. They are also responsible for monitoring the transmitters and station outputs, light production work, and other radio operational duties as needed. The SIU Alumni Association is seeking a creative individual to update and maintain the Association's Website. The individual will be responsible for posting new stories, events, and other content to the main site as well as maintaining the Association's Facebook page. Knowledge of HTML will be helpful. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and have an interest in marketing the site as well as enhancing the social and career networking areas of siualumni.com. Provide practical assistance and technical support in a Mac OS X computer lab. Positions require dependable, punctual, self-motivated students with excellent customer service/people skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and flexible morning, night, and weekend availability.
