Photography Lab Equipment Checkout Room

The Photography Lab Equipment Checkout Room is open 6 days a week, Sunday through Friday, and closed on Saturday. The hours of operation are 8 AM - 10 PM Monday through Thursday, 8 AM - 5:30 PM Friday, and 9 AM - 5 PM on Sunday. (Please note the Sunday opening and closing times may vary according to schedules, however the times will be posted in the Lab.)

Various types of photographic equipment can be checked out from the "Cage" as it is commonly referred to by current students. The "Cage" houses photographic strobe equipment, Calumet 4 x 5 and Deardorff 8 x 10 large format cameras, tripods, Canon DSLR digital cameras, as well as various other photographic accessories. Limited Hasselblad medium format cameras and 1 Hasselblad with a Kodak DCS digital back are available for checkout from the Lab Manager. Keys for accessing Beginning Print Room stations, Advanced Printing Rooms (Color, B/W and Digital), and the Scanning Room are also checked out from the Equipment Room.

Equipment and facilities are available to students currently enrolled in related Photography courses and meet the requirements which may involve completing previous lower level course work.
