Cinema and Photography major Ginny Carpenter is a finalist in the 28th Annual Student Photography Contest sponsored by Photographer's Forum magazine and Nikon USA.

The sophomore from Belleville competed against over 4,000 students from the United States, Canada, and abroad.

Her winning photograph, created in a course with Associate Professor Fern Logan, will be published in the Best of College Photography Annual 2008.
