MCMA New Student Orientation

The College of Mass Communication and Media Arts will hold a New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 26 from 4:30-6pm for all incoming MCMA freshmen and transfer students.

 

During the first half hour (4:30-5pm) students will be able to attend departmental introduction meetings* in the Communications Building (students will be directed to the appropriate rooms once they arrive to the building), followed by an RSO and student group fair from 5-6pm in Studio A. There will be representatives from alt.news, River Region Evening Edition News, the Daily Egyptian, WSIU, Studio A, Film Alternatives, WIDB, Saluki Advertising Agency, Digital Dog Records and many more. Refreshments will be served.

 

*Departmental meetings will be held in the following locations:
Cinema & Photography Sound Stage (COMM 1116)
Journalism Dean's Conference Room (COMM 1032)
Radio-TV Studio B (COMM 1063)
MCMA Undecided Journalism Conference Room (COMM 1201)
